Gates of Hope Ministry is focused on changing communities for Jesus. The heart of the Lord is to change one heart at a time and by doing so changing one community at a time. Jesus took 12 unlikely men and changed the world. He understood that evangelism, discipleship, and community begins with the individual. Our mission is to Unify, Equip, and Edify the citizend of the Kingdom of God. We will Unify through evangelistic events and Spirit led worship gatherings. We will Equip through one on one strategic training. Edification is the continual process of building someone up. We will build up individuals by establishing Beacon House (House Church) leaders to foster small gatherings of people in their homes and neighborhoods to continue the proccess of evangelism, discipleship, and community. Thus fulfiilling the Great Commission!
the kingdom of god goes beyond the 4 walls
True Unity starts with fellowship with Jesus. We want to invite you to come to one of our Unify Gatherings every Saturday evening at 6:30pm. You will experience time in the presence of God. As we gather together to the sound of worship we will bring our sins before the cross and seek Him in prayer. For He desires a “Broken & Repentant Heart” Psalms 51:17. The Lord will bring us into fellowship with Him and each other uniting us. Worship, Prayer, and the Presence of the Lord is the order of the evening.
Jesus is clear in Matthew 28 that we must “GO” and make disciples. He further defines this by saying “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you”. We believe that discipleship starts with evangelism and it must be followed up with intetional training. The original 12 apostles, through the power of the Holy Ghost, passed down what they learned from Jesus to the next generation. Through the power of the Holy Ghost it has been passed down to every generation since… one heart at a time. Jesus demonstrated through the 12 that effective discipleship cannot come from large gatherings but within small gatherings. Touching one heart at a time. The word edify in the original Greek found in Ephesians 4:11 means to build up. We believe that edification is part of the continued process of discipleship. Our growth continues well after our conversion but it requires for us to be in healthy christian communities. Beacon House’s (House Church) are were we gather to build each other up, spur one another to good works, and ecourge each other. Our relationship with each other is critical to have a healthy walk with Jesus.
